This is going to be my last posting regarding this issue. I am sorry if wo many of you have found my reply "unreasonable and rude", that was not my intention.First I felt attacked by the comments directed to me by Mr.R. Those were unreasonable and rude. He could have said the same thing in a more helpful way and courteous way, like so many others. As for the way I posted my question, I thought I made it clear enough, considering that I must protect the confidentiality of a very confidential matter. It has already been finished, submitted and approved, so no need to sweat over it. I do thank "WMPetzall" for his helpful posting, I think you really grasped the matter. It is in the field of medicine, though it belongs to trainings. Again, thank you all for your interest.

AMARYLIS, Your comment to David is totally unreasonable and out of context. That is absolutely no way to thank someone for his/her effort. We all take OUR time to help YOU out and due to YOUR lack of context, etc. WE waste it (i.e. OUR time)!! After seeing said comment, I could have offered you another answer, but I decided not to. I hope others do the same. I know this message will be removed by a moderator, and, undoubtedly, so will yours. But at least you'll know what I think before he/she does.

With the ASKER's explanation, then the translation would be something along the lines of "descubrirán la importancia del mensaje (que se desea transmitir)", which is particularly appropriate in the context of this discussion.
And just a reminder:
CONTEXT - the (preferably) full sentence where the problem word or expression is located.
TOPIC - the area of knowledge to which the translation refers.
I would NOT say that this particular expression has anything to do with medicine; instead, it has everything to do with advertising!

People, we are talking about a message delivered through a presentation about a certain product, meaning, the importance of the message they want to stick to their minds, the important point, not a message like a written message and a courier... Sorry if I did not make myself clear.

No doubt, David, but in another question made by the asker regarding training and messaging, I'd say that sending e-mails (messaging) is someone that everyone studying medicine nowadays knows how to do. On the other hand, if it's a case of calling up a courier, I doubt any doctor or surgeon would have to take charge of this task!

Interesting thought, Margaret But messaging can be pretty darn useful in instrumentation, for example, to send a doctor information about a patient's condition or the status of a devide or monitor (in which case massage would be useless).
