Product safety testing
The following sentence appears in a document describing safety testing procedures for an item of electronic equipment:
"Effectuer le transfert des données selon EV-018 et classer le relevé (signé) dans le DHF correspondant à l'appareil."
Neither I nor the client can imagine what the "DHF" might be. Any suggestions?
There's always the possibility that they've used an English abbreviation instead of a French one, so does "Development History File" or something like that seem possible?

It would be 'archive de conception' in French, but perhaps they've just used the English abbreviation, as you suggested. Is it a piece of medical equipment, then I'm sure that it's this. DHF is usually used in a medical context.
