Si parla di EPS, expanded polystyrene. Il documento da tradurre fa riferimento a "Polistirene Espanso Sinterizzato (EPS)". Per EPS trovo solo expanded polystyrene in inglese. Non si deve tradurre sinterizzato?
Più avanti nel documento fa riferimento a "polistirene espanso sinterizzato a 360°", quindi sono obbligata a tradurre sinterizzato qui.
Io ho sempre pensato che sinterizzato è usato per metalli. Si può usare anche per polistirene?
Credo che qui la sinterizzazione è il processo in cui le perle di polistirene sono scaldati per formare una forma compatta. Come si chiama questo processo in inglese?
