latent heat
Heat that cannot be detected. The heat that enters a system when ice melts to form water or when water boils to form steam is latent heat, because there is no change in the temperature of the system. See sensible heat.

•Отвод явной теплоты охлаждения воздуха до параметров насыщения (j=100%) без конденсации (процесс 1-2). Явная теплота – это теплота,которая отводится от воздуха без изменения его агрегатного состояния, т.е.изменяется только температура,а влагосодержание остается без изменения.
•Отвод явной и скрытой теплоты конденсации от воздуха при охлаждении его до температуры поверхности теплообмена (процесс 2-3).Скрытая теплота это теплота, которая отводится от воздуха с изменением его агрегатного состояния, т.е.помимо изменения его температуры изменяется и его влагосодержание.
