The source text talks of "...passengers who are going to leave by airplane...", so the natural opposite of that would of course be 'passengers who arrive by airplane'. The use of 'land' is therefore not only a pleonasm (what else do you do 'by airplane', unless it is 'crash'!?), but also not quite the right verb to oppose the preceding one (land opposes take off, just as disembark opposes embark); the only justification I can see fo saying 'landing by airplane' would be if it was being compared with 'landing from a ship'.
So in your case, as part of the unavoidable tidying up of the awful source text, I'd strongly advise changing the verb to 'arriver'.

Merci, Nicolas ! In fact, 'airplane' doesn't necessarily just imply 'avion,' it could easily imply any other kind of aircraft; I'm sure the type of aircraft (baloon, clider, airship, ...) doesn't really change the baggage handling arrangements ;-)
