Il s'agit du fait que Dieu a donné un égo à l'âme pour qu'elle puisse s'incarner et avoir conscience d'elle-même. Comment traduire « prise » dans ce contexte ?

acquisition of ego
I would suggest this, since "prise" expresses the perspective of the subject. From God's perspective "infusion" might be a suitable word.
"Acquisition of ego" or "of ego identity" is an expression used in psychoanalytic writing, but we also find it, for example, in this text on Gnosis:
"The acquisition of ego by the human soul amounts to entitization of the soul, the human thought-form, through its interaction with the world. Thought-forms become entitized when they procure a rudimentary ego, intellect, mind, or personality."
