I agree with Phil that "hermetizado" is a noun here and would probably translate as an -ing noun in English (e.g., "impermeabilizado" -weatherproofing) , so something like "hermetic sealing" or even "waterproofing" or "airtightness" might also work, if you know what they are trying to keep out.

You might also look at the possibility of changing this to something like "hermeticity issues" instead.

Another alternative might be to use "area barriers" or "creation of barriers in areas".
