matching principle and prudence principle

in accounting: zasada współmierności - Należy wiązać przychody z kosztami ich uzyskania w tym samym okresie. / matching principle - The matching principle requires that expenses be matched with revenues. For example, sales commissions expense should be reported in the period when the sales were made (and not reported in the period when the commissions were paid).

zasada ostrożności/ostrożnej wyceny - Majątek i kapitał powinny być wyceniane tak, aby nie zniekształcać wyniku finansowego - zgodnie z możliwymi do uzyskania cenami sprzedaży netto. / prudence principle - The Prudence principle is similar to the conservative principle in that it speaks to the need for accountants to be more willing to understate than overstate profit. Under the prudence principle revenue should not be anticipated, while expenses and losses should be anticipated and charged against income.
