Pls. re-read by internal e-exchange example sentence. My Honduran hunch is also confirmed by a colleague on the 'grapevine' at the Bar of E&W from *Belize*. Otherwise, the asker confirms it is neither a bag nor a (diplomatic) pouch.

A. But if you had posted the notice it/they would not have left the country.
