Dear colleagues,
I’m not sure about the meaning of “The interpersonal neurobiology of secure attachment” in the passage below. I know that interpersonal neurobiology is an interdisciplinary fied of study, but in this particular case, might it be that “interpersonal neurobiology” does not refer specifically to the discipline, but to the “interpersonal neurobiological mechanisms underlying secure attachment”?
I know that “secure attachment” is essential for healthy growth...so I was wondering whether the meaning might be: “Secure attachment, with the neurobiological-interpersonal mechanisms underlying it, has been described as the bedrock for adaptive growth”
