I seriously doubt there is a fixed term. This is the kind of image taken out in procession which incorporates many votive candles on its carriage (such as the Virgen Blanca or the one below). They normally can be dressed and bedecked, in contrast to statues that are carved as clothed. When not in procession, people light candles to them.

Comment: "Quite by accident, I found the Seville brotherhoods' glossary, which says that it is a statue carved/sculpted from the waist up, only. the lower half is simply a cone, covered, dressed. they do not mention candles (they are probably a given!), but I think "candelero" refers to the type of support to this "half" statue, as opposed to a fully worked one. Anyway, your answer was a great help, too - I wish I knew how to find such information so quickly."
