Agreement
Extrait d'un témoignage portant sur un accord négocié suite à une fraude dont X est responsable et dont Y a été victime. (X et Y sont des sociétés, X est en Ouganda)
X accepte d'indemniser Y selon les conditions définies dans l'accord.
"This was the first key agreement and concession by X - that they would, in colloquial terms, "see Y right", notwithstanding the dispute about who was to blame for the shortfall."
J'ai du mal à trouver un terme/une expression pour rendre "see right" ici (en "colloqual", nous sommes bien d'accord!)
des idées?
Merci d'avance!

: I'm not sure that's really the right sense here: it's more like "OK, I don't think your accusation of my being at fault is right, but I'll still make sure you are alright anyway."

it's not easy to find a colloquial expression, maybe "réparer les dégâts", "redresser la situation"

: It's not really quite that: this would translate "to see somebody is alright", which is not at all the same expression as "to see somebody (al)right" — that little 'is' in the middle makes a world of difference!

Discussion
It all really rather depends on the importance of this "first key agreement and concession by X" — and just what your text goes on to say about it. Is there some suggestion that the informal nature of the agreement means X is now seeking to renege upon it? Or is the writer simply using this informal term themselves, for the sake of brevity, perhaps? I think it is vital to get to the bottom of these issues before you can even begin translating this text.
