Anything that is a capital asset (fixed asset) can be depreciated in accounting terms.

: Agreed. However, I find the source text illogical as fixed asset depreciation is not an "expense". A fall in purchases booked as fixed assets isn't going to affect "frais généraux", unless they are expensing items they would otherwise capitalise...
