I'm having a hard time finding the right term for Begasungsmodul. After a bit of research I think it might be a gas injection module but can't find confirmation. This is my best guess at the moment:
A special gas-injection module for adding carbon dioxide can be used to neutralise the alkaline solution so that it - in compliance with EU standards - can be discharged into the wastewater system without a permit.
Can anybody confirm this for me?
Thanks!

gas injection module
gas injection if the gas is being bubbled into the solution (seems to be the case here)
(or gas blanketing if the gas is added to the atmosphere above the liquid), unlikely

"gas bubbler" is another possibility, but these are generally used in labs
