Hi all,
This is a phrase from a fax manual I am translating - a section on how to save documents to your fax machine's memory for sending at specific times. After you've scanned in the document and entered all the data, and confirmed it, it says:
"Das gespeicherte Dokument wird nun durch eine abwechselnde Eingabe angezeigt."
What does this mean???

really just a guess, but the first thing coming to mind is the screen flashes to show that the document(s) is/are stored and ready to send.

ACtually another thought, abwechselnd here sounds like alternating, at least in this context:
Orthogonale Linienzüge (od. auch Wandzüge), z.B. für einen Gebäudeumriss, lassen sich erzeugen durch die *abwechselnde Eingabe* von X- bzw. Y-Werten in die Eingabefelder
des Koordinatenfensters.
