This is used to refer to those who make materials of any kind available on the internet. I prefer not to provide more information for reasons of confidentiality. Does anyone know of a similar term in English?

You are right about the plural. From what you said, do I correctly understand that in Poland, "internauta" simply refers to users of the internet no matter in what capacity they use it, i.e. whether they manage a website or surf the web? I am translating the minutes of a board meeting in which the use of some terms maybe informal.
