Emanuela Di Rosa . When I started my career as a freelancer I was shocked to discover I had to pay 200 $ to upgrade SDL Trados. I did not earn that amount of money as I was just getting started. Then, I discovered CafèTran Espresso and, apart from being cheap, it is so easy to use that I do not miss Trados, which is somewhat complicated to learn.
I definitely recommend it!

Adriana Martins . Since I lately decided to invest more time and take translation as a job, I was recently introduced to the multiverse of CAT tools. What a nightmare for rookies! We can feel all the potential they bring to help the task, but it keeps unreachable. I come to know MemoQ, WordfastAnywhere and Trados. I wanted to work with Trados because of its reputation among companies, but it's not much intuitive — at least for me. Then comes CafeTran Espresso. What to say? I stop feeling dumb and clumsy, I stop guessing how to use all the tools featuring. And I got faster. Do I fell in love for CafeTran? Guess it for yourself ha ha!
