stimmt genau - naja, genau ist, wenn der Verkehr es zulässt. Aber 1,5 Stunden kommt gut hin.
@Alison: meine "uh-oh" oben bezog sich auf Deine Anmeldung und auf den Gedanken, dass wir wohl wieder Bike-Tour machen werden mit Zwischenstopp auf genanntem Schloß Darby . . .

ich habe vor, Ralf nach seinen Erfahrungen in Berlin zu fragen - z.B. ob lieber in deutsch oder in englisch. Ansonsten ist das deutsche Steuerrecht ein weites Feld, d.h. ich richte mich nach den Wünschen der Teilnehmer, die hoffentlich bis dahin geäußert werden, damit ich mich darauf einrichten kann - wollen wir dazu ein Forum-Thread einfädeln?

Hi Rod! Ein Forum-Thread einfädeln wäre bestimmt eine gute Idee. Persönlich würde ich gerne mehr über das Umsatzsteuergesetz, die Berechnung von Gewerbesteuerhebesätzen, und der Unterschied zwischen "Steuern auf Einkommen und Ertrag" lernen (just to start with....

Zeitplan: not really settled yet. the powwows seem to start about 2 p.m. (to allow people to get there, I guess), but we are pretty flexible. the Sailing Club is about 10 mins from the office. I'll be in the office from early morning. I'm not sure about flights, we're a bit out in the sticks here. The nearest "regular" airports are Hamburg and Berlin, 1,5 resp. 2 hours away. Then ther... Then there's Lübeck Blankensee (1,5h), Parchim (0,5h) and Rostock/Laage (1h), but they are these "new" airports used by the cutprice airlines and by charter carriers going out to Mallorca usw.
I guess we'll do the seminar between about 3 or 4 p.m. and 6 or 7 p.m., before the "crowd" starts junketing.
last year we hired a bunch of bikes at the hotel most people stayed at and we could do that again, but actually I was going to suggest we hire a bunch of canoes this year and do a little trip on the Stör canal
"Crowd" ist natürlich gut: wir sind offenbar "a small and select group", und so können wir uns einrichten, wie wir möchten. Bitte um Vorschläge für den Ablauf, die Freizeit.
