Our meeting is getting closer and closer. Does anybody volunteer to bring up some topics for us to chat on. We all are from different background but have one thing in common -- we enjoy to contribute to bridge the world. Wenjer used to have ideas on AfTF. Where and When to Meet on Feb. 18 for the Ride Feb 5, 2006

Hello guys,

I check up at the Railway Main Station Taipei and find out that the only place I can halt for a while would be near the West Entrance. So, Kaxia, Irene and Michele, I am going to meet you at the West Entrance between 8:00 and 8:30 on Feb. 18. We will be on the way to Hsinchu at 8:30.

The other ones, who go with Stone, shall meet her at the Metro Staion XinDian. Stone shall indicate where you shall meet. See you in Hsinchu then.

Hiking shoes or boots Feb 8, 2006

I wonder how many of you would prefer a 2-hours' hike along the beautiful Pao-shan lake, a circle with both waterfront and hillside trails that is what we did now on Sunday. It was Marvelous. Or you walk for half an hour across a hanging bridge, look arround a bit and come back to where you started. Or you prefer simply lay back in the cafe seats and watch water fowls dancing and flying.
For the first two cases you'd better bring hiking shoes with you for your own comfort and safty.

I'm sorry, the reason why my car can only take 3 is that I have to take my boy (6 years old) with my. My husband has to go abroad on Friday night thus nobody can take care of my son on Saturday. Sorry for this. My husband is kind of like 'being called suddenly' so we can't anticipate this business travel beforehand.

I hope it's ok for you 3 to be with a (very lovely) boy in a car. : )

Kaxia, your parients can be with us. I know you, including FiFi, are all tall guys, taller than me. The March wouldn't be too comfortable. But the ride to Hsinchu takes only one and half an hour or two. It would be ok for 3 of you in the March.

So, the Westgate of the Main Railway Station at 8:00 to 8:20 on Feb. 18, let's meet and go. See you then.
