Anybody up for coffee this weekend? | Nov 16, 2011 |
Hello everyone!
It's been a long time since I last attended and I would love to join you the 10th of December but am not sure I can make it that day.
If anybody would like to meet for a coffee this weekend, please just let me know either here or via e-mail. Then we could arrange something.
Best regards,
Mette

Hi Mette
The Powwow organiser can request that an e-mail about the event is sent to site Users within a certain distance of the event - excluding those that have asked not to be contacted about such matters.
Possibility to subscribe | Nov 17, 2011 |
Thank you for the info, Russell.
Personally, I would like to receive notifications like that so maybe you could try to use that option in the future, Ira, since you are normally the one who takes the initiative to meet up

However, I would also be interested in following the powwow activity in my home country for example, so I also think it would be useful with a feature that would allow you to subscribe to notifications about powwows in certain areas, which are not necessarily close to where you live. I will submit a support request with that idea. ▲ Collapse

Why not? I'm up for it. Got any suggestions where and when?

Coffee Saturday the 19th at 3 PM | Nov 17, 2011 |
Hi Milen (and others who might feel like meeting up this weekend),
It could for example be Saturday at 3 PM at Coffee Lounge on 10 Navigation Street. I haven't been there before, so you are welcome to suggest another place if you know a nice café or pub, which is not too long from the station.
I am also quite flexible regarding the time and day, since I have to go to Birmingham anyway one of these days.

Hi Mette,
I've never been to Coffee Lounge either. There are probably nicer places by the canal but if you are arriving at New Street Station that would be very conveniet indeed so I don't mind.
So I'll see you and anyone else who might want to join us at 3 pm on Saturday (tomorrow) @ Coffee Lounge.
Have to cancel... Sorry! | Nov 18, 2011 |
Hi Milen
I am afraid I won't be able to meet anyway tomorrow since I received an urgent project earlier today, which I can't really say no...
I hope we can meet up another day, and the canal does indeed sound nice. It doesn't have to be right at the station. I just came by this place last time I was in Birmingham.
In any case, if it should be possible I will still try to come on the 10th of December.
Sorry, unable to come! | Nov 20, 2011 |
I'd very much like to attend, but it's my lad's birthday on 10th and I'll be busy trying to keep control of about 20 hyper-excited 8-year-old boys at Laser Station on that afternoon. I'd rather be at the pub, though!

... that sounds like fun! We will have a drink for you then See you next time, which most likely will be next year.
PS "Einen Sack Flöhe hüten" might describe your task for this afternoon best.
one week too early :-( | Nov 29, 2011 |
Aww... I'm one week too early for this Powwow... Will be in Birmingham (over from Rome) this coming week-end for a family celebration. Maybe next time! Have a great Powwow D.
Sorry again! | Jan 13, 2012 |
Sorry for the late reply, but circumstances have, unfortunately, again conspired to prevent me from attending. I hope you get a good group together and have an enjoyable meeting. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one!
