First of all, no client of mine can be quite as demanding regarding quality as I am myself. Anyway, I respect my clients and their needs and expect the same in return. I must say also that if you manage to please an overly demanding client, he/she will probably recommend you...

After two rounds of questions and two rounds of source updates, I told my client that I would be charging my standard rate for any further work. He reacted a little grumpily and muttered something about not charging the end client for this so this would cost him money, but I believe he did talk to the end client after that. This was the end of that specific project. I still work with this client and his end client. Requests for explanations and updates tend to be reasonable these days.

Overly Demanding and Unrealistic Aug 21, 2025

Occasionally, I receive inquiries from past customers that are unusual and unrealistic. If they are feasible, I typically accept and address them. If not, I kindly decline.
