Hiring Full-time Translation Project Manager [Remotely]

Job description:

We are a small, dynamic translation agency in Egypt seeking a highly organized and proactive Translation Project Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position, exclusive to Egypt-based candidates, with working days from Saturday to Thursday.

As a Translation Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring high-quality delivery while meeting deadlines. You will work closely with translators, editors, and clients to manage workflows using Smartcat, SDL Trados, among others.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

▪️ Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of translation projects.
▪️ Assign tasks to translators, reviewers, and proofreaders based on their expertise.
▪️ Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards.
▪️ Handle client communications, including project updates, queries, and feedback.
▪️ Monitor project timelines to ensure efficient resource utilization.
▪️ Collaborate with the team to optimize workflows using Smartcat & SDL Trados.
▪️ Resolve issues or bottlenecks during the project lifecycle.

🎯 Required Qualifications:

▪️ Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, or a related field.
▪️ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Translation Project Manager.
▪️ Proficiency in using translation management tools, especially Smartcat.
▪️ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
▪️ Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
▪️ Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
▪️ Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
▪️ A stable internet connection and remote working setup.
▪️ Willingness to take a test.

▪️ Experience working in a small or medium-sized translation agency.
▪️ Knowledge of CAT tools, especially Smartcat & SDL Trados, and familiarity with translation workflows.
▪️ Background in translation or linguistic expertise is a plus.
