I've started to do translations when I was only 13 working on Championship Manager, and later on working with many fansubs for anime and less known cult movies. Since then, I never stopped.
I've specialized in entertainment media (videogames, movies) and IT (Internet, software, hardware, SEO, e-commerce) and I work with all the major players in the industry, assuming leading roles in the translation projects. I've lead translation/testingQA teams for Sony, Microsoft, working within the most renowned studios in the world. I've worked in the USA, Netherlands, Norway, France, assisting in in-house projects.
I've a vast knowledge of TRC compliance and have worked in many major glossaries thousands of translators use every year.
I work for top tier companies such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Actiblizzard, Apple, Konami, Gameloft, Intel, nVIDIA, Skype, UEFA, Wizards of the Coast, Fisher Price, etc.
I'm proficient with a huge range of CAT tools, from traDOS, MemoQ, PoEdit, LocStudio, etc.
My favorite kind of work is speech transcreation, usually from a english dialect, like scottish, aussie, old english, etc, bringing it into a made up portuguese dialect using many of our own, to create an intelligible mix.
Being also a scriptwriter, I believe it gives me an edge when it comes to work with any speech/dialog related jobs, due to the need for creativity and vast knowledge of expressions.
I'm not the most affordable asset, but will certainly make you come back for more :)
