It is hoped that this information will help doctors gain a better understanding of the long-term health effects of being treated with xxx. The length of your participation in the registry depends on the start date of pregnancy and will last through the duration of the pregnancy. The registry is estimated to end in 2012.

What Do I Have To Do?
If you agree to participate in this registry you or your partner will be asked to answer specific questions about your age, your working status, and the medications you have been taking around the time of conception. Your registry physician may ask you the questions at the clinic during your partner’s routine checkup or you may be contacted by telephone to answer these questions.
For women partners only:
You will be asked to answer additional questions about your pregnancy. You will be contacted by phone one time between 4 and 7 months after your last period and another time after 10 months.
In addition you will be asked to give the physician participating in this registry your permission to contact other doctors who are treating you (i.e. your health care provider) in order to obtain additional medical information that will be recorded in the registry database. Any information collected from other physicians will be handled in the same confidential manner as that collected by the registry physician. If you do not agree to this, you may not enroll in this registry.

Introduction
Polyhalogen compounds are compounds that contain more than one halogen atom in their structure.
Methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, DDT, freons and iodoform are some of the examples of polyhalogen compounds.
These compounds can not be easily decomposed and are responsible for ozone depletion and proves fatal towards atmosphere.
Polyhalo compounds
The halo compound which contain more than one halo atom, or halogen elements are called as poly halo compounds.
They are classified as dihalo compounds , trihalo compounds, tetrahalo compounds etc. Some of the examples are given below,
2. It is slightly soluble in water but completely soluble in organic solvent.
3. It is non-flammable, but shows green color when its vapour burn.
4. Anesthetic chloroform is very pure, so to prevent oxidation it is always stored in dark brown or blue bottles.

It was used as a anesthetic reagent in previous days. It is used as anesthetic reagent when the free iodine is released, not as an iodoform itself.
Tetra Chloromethane
It is used commonly as a solvent. It is very useful in the manufacturing of refrigerator production. It is also used in pharmaceutical industry. It causes liver cancer in humans, Dizziness, light headache, nausea and vomiting.
Freons
Freons are stable, nonreactive, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and simply liquefiable gases. It is used in aerosol propellant, refrigeration and air conditioning. The most common name of freons is chlorofluorocarbons which are liberated and mixed in the atmosphere and forms free radicals. It is the main cause for ozone depletion. The chlorofluorocarbon of methane and ethane are collectively called as freons.
p-p'-Dichloro diphenyl trichloro ethane[DDT]
It is commonly called as DDT. It is used as an insecticide i.e. it is mainly used to kill mosquitoes which causes malaria and typhoid. It is not a stable compound. The person who discovered it was âPaul Mullerâ and he was awarded noble prize.

அவை டைஹேலா சேர்மங்கள், ட்ரைஹேலா சேர்மங்கள், டெட்ராஹேலா சேர்மங்கள் உள்ளிட்டவைகளாக வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. சில சான்றுகள் கீழே கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன,

Source text - English The human digestive system starts from the mouth, which opens into a chamber or cavity called buccal cavity. At the floor of the cavity, we find a muscular tongue. The buccal cavity is bounded by upper and lower jaws, which have four different kinds of teeth namely the incisors, canines, premolars and molars. These help in chewing the food and make it easy for swallowing. Three pairs of salivary glands are also located in the buccal cavity. The salivary glands secrete saliva, which is taken through ducts into the buccal cavity. The human saliva contains an enzyme called ‘ptyalin’, which can act on starch and convert it into maltose. Thus, digestion of carbohydrates begins in the buccal cavity itself. The buccal cavity leads into a funnel shaped pharynx, which in turn leads to a long and tubular oesophagus. The walls of the oesophagus are highly muscular; in order to help the peristaltic motion of the masticated food. The oesophagus opens into the j-shaped stomach, present on the left side of the abdomen. The stomach walls are provided with branched and tubular glands, secretions from these glands are collectively called gastric juices. The gastric juice is a mixture of secretory products from three types of glands. The glands secreting hydrochloric acid, protein digesting enzymes and mucus.
