A British (English) national, I have lived and worked in Italy for more than 15 years.
I hold a Bachelors Joint Honours degree in Italian and Spanish from the University of Hull and a Masters degree in Translation from the University of Bristol. I am a Chartered Linguist and full member of the British Chartered Institute of Linguists and an Accredited PR Practitioner with the British Chartered Institute of Public Relations. I have completed short Level 4 diploma courses in Copywriting, Journalism and Social Media Marketing and am now studying for a Masters degree in Psychology (UK).
I have significant experience, spanning more than fifteen years, in the motorsports arena, having worked in-house for Ducati Motor Holding, Ducati Corse and Alpinestars in the communication/PR field. I continue to collaborate with various international motorcycle racing teams at race events on a freelance basis, and remain available for communications work.
I carry out translation, editing, proofreading and writing work on a freelance basis across the fields of: automotive, motorsport, marketing & PR, travel & tourism, fashion, technical, luxury goods, general business, journalism, ceramics, food & drink, and education. Having worked for a combination of international companies and private clients, I have built up a wealth of experience across a variety of fields.
