But because they act deep in neural pathways of the brain, some of them are bound also to enhance people's power to think and learn. Such drugs will inevitably be used by healthy people too. That is the lesson from medicines such as Ritalin (methylphenidate) and Provigil (modafinil), which are now widely used “off label” to boost performance, as Nature has found. When the British journal asked its scientifically aware readers earlier this year, one in five of those who answered said they had used such drugs non-medically, to help them concentrate or learn.

Protože však působí hluboko v nervových drahách mozku, některé z nich samozřejmě zlepšují lidskou schopnost myslet a učit se. Takovéto léky budou nevyhnutelně používány také zdravými lidmi. Na základě studie vědeckého časopisu Nature, podobné poučení plyne z distribuce léků jako Ritalin (methylfenidát) a Provigil (modafinil), které jsou nyní široce používány způsobem 'off-label' (tzn. použití léku pro jiné léčebné účely nebo jiným způsobem, než jak je uvedeno ve schváleném souhrnu informací o léku) pro zvýšení výkonu. Proper Eats opened on May 13th, 2006 in the historic St. Johns business district. The market brings locally grown, organic products to the greater North Portland community. We feature fresh local produce, bulk items and a variety of juices, snacks, baked goods, environmentally safe cleaning products, and beer-- just to name a few. The cafe features vegetarian and vegan dining options for all ages, bringing a one-of-a-kind dining experience to Portland.
The anniversary of our opening coincided with the celebration of the annual St. Johns Parade and St. Johns Bizarre. We wanted to build a business in our community that positively serves the needs of North Portland residents while helping to strengthen the local economy!
We believe in the importance of supporting small, independent farmers, distributors, manufacturers and artisans, which are values that we believe are in sync with the St. Johns community spirit. We also believe in bringing the best quality food to our neighbors at a price that the average family can afford.
Proper Eats is open late and serves beer and wine, providing an alternative late night option for those in the neighborhood. Proper Eats is a gathering place for the community, hosting seed swaps and other events that promote healthy living, environmental stewardship and community development. Proper Eats otevřeli 13. května 2006 v historickém obchodním centru St. Johns. Náš obchod nabízí komunitě severního Portlandu organické produkty pěstované v blízkém okolí. Vyznačujeme se nabídkou čerstvých místních plodin, množstevních položek a pestrým výběrem džusů, malého občerstvení, pečiva, čistících výrobků šetrných k životnímu prostředí, a také piva - abychom vyjmenovali jen některé položky. Source text - English This French colonial estate in Soufriere, St Lucia, is situated on a fully operating, 135-acre cocoa plantation. Surrounded by tropical gardens, this 19th century plantation is a World Heritage site.
Fond Doux Estate boasts 3 tiered, outdoor pools with water falls and a gazebo. Mama La Terre Spa offers massage services and other therapeutic body treatments.
Each cottage features unique architecture, hardwood floors and tropical colors. They are equipped with ceiling fans, a fridge and coffee maker. A private patio or balcony overlooking the gardens is offered.
A free shuttle to Jalousie Beach is provided by Fond Doux Holiday Plantation. Plantation tours can be arranged at the concierge desk and extensive bird watching is available on site.
