Bio
I have been a freelance translator and interpreter since 1999.
Based in Antananarivo, I've worked primarily in Madagascar. But my job has enabled me to travel extensively to some English-speaking countries namely the US, Mauritius, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, South Africa, Kenya.
I've worked for Antananarivo-based international organizations, such as PSI Madagascar, Pact Madagascar, etc. I've provided translation service to major international companies such as Ambatovy, a major nickel and cobalt mining company and to local private Malagasy and Indian/Pakistanese businesses as well. Hotels have requested my service for their brochures/flyers and promotional videos. . . I've worked for media/video companies such as Yellow Spanner (Cambridge, UK), Tam Tam (Madagascar). . . I've offered my professional service to Microsoft UK in terms of ICT.
I was a junior part-time lecturer at the University of Antananarivo (2002-2010) and for one year got to teach translation (French-English and Malagasy-English) as language pairs.
I then major in French-English and English-French as language pairs. I major in several fileds namely media/communication, tourism industry, environment, conservation, high tech, engineering (construction), electronics, law, diplomacy/international relations, international trade, religion, etc.
