Source text - English A 64-year-old patient in your practice with a history of high-risk T3a, PSA 9, Gleason 8 prostate cancer was treated initially with combined modality radical radiation to the prostate and 2 years of androgen deprivation. After two years, he developed pelvic osseous metastatic disease and received continuous androgen deprivation with a LHRH agonist, bicalutamide, then bicalutamide withdrawal. He now presents with a rising PSA, new mild rib and hip pain; otherwise, he has good performance status and no co-morbidities
Translation - Italian Un paziente di 64 anni con anamnesi di carcinoma della prostata T3a (alto rischio), PSA 9, gleason 8 è stato inizialmente trattato con modalità combinata di radioterapia radicale alla prostata e 2 anni di deprivazione di androgeni. Dopo due anni, ha sviluppato una metastasi ossea pelvica ed è stato sottoposto a continua deprivazione di androgeni con antagonisti dell'LHRH, bicalutamide, poi interruzione di bicalutamide. Al momento presenta un PSA in crescita, nuovi dolori costali e all'anca di lieve intensità; a parte questo, ha un buon performance status e nessuna comorbidità
