My native language is Estonian and I have been working as a freelance English to Estonian (and, to a lesser extent, vice versa) translator and an Estonian editor/proofreader since 2011. What I love most about being a translator is the possibility to gain knowledge through working.

I have studied at the oldest and most reputable university in Estonia, the University of Tartu, specializing in Estonian philology, English philology, psychology, philosophy and translation studies. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Humanities in the field of Estonian and Finno-Ugric linguistics and a Master of Arts in Humanities in the field of translation studies.

I have collaborated with many international companies, translating various text types starting from social affairs, psychology and literary texts, moving on to legal, political and EU texts and finally to IT, technical and (less specialized) medical texts. I am very curious by nature and choose to work with very different topics, which I do with precision and ease.

I am looking to collaborate with partners all over the world, delivering on-time quality translations of various fields, but mostly specializing on EU and legal, social affairs, IT, marketing, financial and general medical texts.
