Source text - Portuguese Segundo Narcizo (2009), "Implementar a Educação Ambiental nas escolas tem se mostrado uma tarefa exaustiva. Existem grandes dificuldades nas atividades de sensibilização e formação, na implantação de atividades e projetos e, principalmente, na manutenção e continuidade dos já existentes."
Uma escola não vai, repentinamente, lançar um grande projeto de EA que envolva todos seus professores e alunos, porém, para que algo seja implementado, um ponto de partida faz-se necessário. Então, como educadores ambientais, precisamos nos desafiar a promover práticas pedagógicas de EA ou aprimorar as que já estão sendo desenvolvidas para que desperte nos alunos interesse pelos problemas ambientais e suas possíveis soluções, gerando uma mudança cultural a longo prazo.
Translation - English According to Narcizo (2009), "Implementing Environmental Education in schools has proved to be an exhausting task. There are great difficulties in awareness and training activities, in the implementation of activities and projects and, mainly, in the maintenance and continuity of those that already are in place". A school is not going to suddenly launch a major EE project that involves all its teachers and students, however, for something to be implemented, a starting point is necessary. So, as environmental educators, we need to challenge ourselves to promote pedagogical practices of EE or improve those that are already being developed so that students arouse interest in environmental problems and their possible solutions, generating long-term cultural change.

I have experience of more than 7 years as a translator and proofreader of technical articles and documents (English <> Portuguese BR) in many fields of expertise, such as engineering, construction, occupational safety and health, quality assurance, training, education, real estate, nutrition, auto mechanics, patents, sports, health and well-being, oil and gas, sailing, literature. I offer translation and proofreading services in the areas above and also in others (EN <> PTBR)
I am used to working really well with teams and by myself. I can cope with short deadlines and consistently deliver the job within the stipulated scope. I am experienced in doing the proofreading job to make the texts look more natural, fluid, and harmonized. I deal with the grammar and vocabulary points that need to be improved always respecting the job done by the translator.
Since 2019, I am a remote volunteer for the Local Design and Construction department of the Watchtower Society. I have different roles, such as translator, proofreader/checker, and mentor of the new members. We develop a bunch of training related to the quality assurance and occupational safety and health of our projects to achieve the zero accidents goal. We also translate material related to real estate, electrics, engineering, and working at heights, just to name a few.
