My name is Claire, and I'm a freelance translator. I'm a native French speaker, and I translate mainly from English into French.

My main specialization fields are computers, the internet, e-commerce, education, applied linguistics, website translation (I have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Wordpress), business (general), and user manuals/user instructions.

I am also able to proofread texts that were written in French. I'm very meticulous, and I enjoy the process of proofreading and translating.

Learning languages has always been my passion. Upon obtaining my high school diploma (also called A-levels or the "baccalauréat" in French) I decided to study English.
After a few enriching years spent at my local university, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in English, with honors.

Reading nonfiction books and articles is one of my main interests, and that is part of the reason why I chose to become a translator.
