Compósitos condutores à base de polianilina e resina acrílica e polianilina, resina acrílica e resíduo de couro, sendo o agente dopante o ácido dodecilbenzenossulfônico, foram estudados visando à possibilidade de seu uso como materiais absorvedores eletromagnéticos. A preparação dessas misturas foram feitas de duas formas distintas: a mistura sem o resíduo de couro e a mistura com o resíduo de couro. As composições sofreram variações no teor de PAni.DBSA e no teor de resíduo de couro. Buscou-se, a partir da variação das composições, caracterizar os materiais obtidos em termos de condutividade elétrica, morfologia, propriedades eletromagnéticas e térmicas.
Nas composições com resíduo de couro a condutividade e as propriedades eletromagnéticas decaiu, devido a presença de maior quantidade de material isolante na composição. Amostras com maior teor de polianilina apresentaram maior condutividade e eficiência de blindagem e menor estabilidade térmica.
Dos resultados obtidos, conclui-se que os diferentes teores de polianilina nas misturas tem grande influencia nas propriedades finais dos compósitos, já a presença do resíduo de couro interfere muito pouco na condutividade e nas propriedades eletromagnéticas e aumenta a estabilidade térmica do material.
Translation - English Development of Conductive Composites Based on Acrylic Resin,
Polyaniline and Leather Residue.
Conductive composites based on acrylic resin polyaniline, polyaniline and acrylic resin and leather residue, and the doping agent dodecilbenzenesulfonic acid, were studied aiming at the possibility of its use as an electromagnetic absorbing material. The preparation of these mixtures were made in two ways: a mixture without the leather residue and a sample mixed with leather residue. The compositions have varied in the content ratio of Pani.DBSA and the leather residue. It is intended with the variation in the compositions, to characterize the obtained materials in terms of electrical conductivity, morphology, thermal and electromagnetic properties.
In compositions with leather residue, conductivity and electromagnetic properties decreased due to the presence of larger amount of isolating material in the composition. Samples with higher content of polyaniline showed higher conductivity and shielding efficiency and lower thermal stability. From our results, we conclude that the different levels of polyaniline in the blends have great influence on the final properties of the composites, since the presence of leather residue interferes very little in the conductivity and electromagnetic properties and increase the thermal stability of the material.
