Bio
I am a native Portuguese freelance translator working with English, German and Spanish. I have recently completed an MA in Translation at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. My main focus during the course was literary translation in the language pairs DE-PT, DE-EN and EN-PT. I also completed courses in other fields such as liaison interpreting, humor translation and subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing, among others.
In addition to the experience and skills acquired during my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, I also have about seven years experience as a freelance translator, and specialize in media translation (subtitling, QC, metadata translation and proofreading) and literary translation.
