I have been working as a translator and interpreter for over 10 years. It has been my fascination to study and experience as many cultures as possible since a very young age and I always find that despite all our different languages and cultures, we are all so much alike.
I've always considered it a huge responsibility and privilege to interpret for others serving as a reliable conduit, especially when under dire circumstances. By the same token I've always consider it an honor to be entrusted with a text and to render its intended message with the upmost respect, accuracy and feeling.
My work experience during the last 10+ years seems to have taken me down the path of medical and educational interpretation and translation but I still refuse to discard the knowledge acquired during two decades of experience in the fashion and real estate fields.
I have had the privilege since birth of having been raised exposed to multiple cultures, visited many countries for extended periods of time and I continue to enjoy friends from all corners of this wonderful, fascinating world. I consider myself a perpetual learner. I don't take this lightly. It has made me who I am and this has and continues to help me with every translating and interpreting project that I undertake.
