Statement:
As
a translator, I place style, character
of the document and customer requirements at the heart of my commitment.
As
a former financier, I aim for precision and perfection in every text. My
financial background also enables me to understand complexity and depth of any
financial, economic, business and legal documentation in the source languages
and deliver high quality translation to the target readership.
As
a practicing linguist, I enjoy working with any kind of text but literary and
creative writing is of special linguistic interest to me. I am constantly striving to develop new
approaches to creative and literary translation. I am also interested in
marketing and transcreation as they derive from these skills and from my deep
understanding of the source and target cultures.
