Bio
I've worked as a copywriter, editor and proofreader for the past 8 years, both in English and Spanish, and at times also in Portuguese. I worked for Universia (5 ys.), a network of sites devoted mostly to education, labor and science, and for a marketing company, OnPoint (3 ys.) creating all sorts of content (landing pages, emails, articles, ebooks...), as well as translating articles, ebooks, corporate presentations, guides and manuals, privacy policies and terms & conditions, etc.
I've also worked as an interpreter for TED and done a few interpretations for the University of the Republic, in Uruguay.
I'm proactive, hard-working and passionate about linguistics and languages in general. I'm not only a certified translator in SPA<>ENG, but also a journalist, graduated from the University of the Republic (UDELAR). Additionally, I have several certifications in Portuguese, and have started studying Mandarin.
I am highly responsible and committed to my work, extremely disciplined and organized, I always stick to deadlines and provide quality content.
