My name is Elisa Paccasassi
and I a native italian freelance translator working under the name of EP Translations,
specialised in the translation of legal (I also provide
sworn/certified/legalised translations) and technical texts (especially in the
pharmaceutical and medical devices domain)  in the combinations EN > IT
and FR>IT.

As for my backgroung, in 2019 I got a bachelor’s
degree in Linguistic Mediation (3 years) , and I decided to carry on with my studies by
specialising in Translation for Enterprises (2 years). During my education I collaborated with a local
LSP as an intern and that’s where I had the opportunity to interact with clients
and to work on different text genres (mostly technical texts) and technologies
used by LSP’s in order to provide high quality services (e.g. Trados). After my
master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting for Enterprises, I continued my
career by specialising in legal, technical and pharmaceutical field and I
started working as a freelance translator. I am also an associate member of the
Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters (AITI).
