BACKGROUND:

Jean H. Bellefleur, is a highly motivated, devoted, well-organized individual, talented, active, skilled, open and flexible intellectual with 26 years
experience in translating documents and interpreting, volunteering as freelance
translator with Translators Without Borders (TWB) since 2017 in the following
language combination: English to French, English to Haitian Creole, French to
Haitian Creole, and Spanish to French. To date, Jean has translated 
100+ assignments, whose, 196,028 words translated, and receiving very good feedback from

His task is to receive all kind of documents coming from Humanitarian
Organizations worldwide and translate them from English-French, English-Haitian
Creole and French-Haitian Creole and submit them to Translator Without Borders
Head Office.

March 24, 2014 – December 15, 2015: Technician at Grays Aqua Farm Ltd.
Located at North Hampton, NB, Canada –
He did multiple tasks including mostly enter all the daily reports in the
computer and other relevant tasks when needed. 

July 2010 – November 2010: Translator with the department ERD and later
(November 2010 – to October 31, 2011 attaché as Administrative Assistant with
the Child Protection Program (CYPD) – IRC Mission Haiti.
His duties include implementing but are not limited to following-up of
all logistical, financial and HR procedures for the CYPD Department. More
particularly, he had to:

  • Compile
    the movement plans and send them to logistics Department every Thursday

  • Track
    PRs to Finance Department

  • Provide
    output of the department stores

  • Making
    PRs for the rental of vehicles for the program

June 28, 2005 – January 2010: Founder & Executive Director of Batjda/Haiti. This is an Organization
for Children and Youth Relief Development Program. He managed the funds
allocated for the execution of its projects. His main responsibilities were to
ensure that all internal regulations are respected and keep harmony within the
organization. His duties also included to:

  • Oversee
    all financial matters

  • Approve
    the placement of all projects

  • Attend
    every meeting of the Board of Directors with voice without voting

    and present the budget before December 1st for the next fiscal
