For the past 3 years I have provided translations on a voluntary basis for Translators Without Borders. Although the majority of these have been for NGOs I have translated a wide variety of other documents. The following link will take you to my TWB profile

I have completed a Graduate Diploma in French at The University of Melbourne and it was during this that I discovered my love of translation. I particularly enjoy the challenge of finding exactly the right words to translate the meaning correctly. I call it mental gymnastics!

I am also currently translating (just for fun) a novel by the Belgian writer Amélie Nothomb.

Literary translation is of particular interest to me.

I am a member of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT) and the Australian Association of Literary Translation (AALITRA).
