French to English: Racism in football interview (excerpt) General field: Other Detailed field: Sports / Fitness / Recreation
Translation - English This is why I think that football, being the number one sport in the world, can really fight racism. But to do that, you have to have the intelligence to understand the history of racism, to be interested in racism and also to know those who fought, those who spoke out and try to put the strategies they used at the time in place today.
The first strategy is to speak out against racism and say we don't agree with it and invite all those who suffer from racism to ask them what we can do together to fight against racism? Because as a rule, we never ask the people who experience racism.

Translation - English The change has been drastic. I will always try to learn as much as I can, because I know that I'm at a time and a stage in my career where I can't settle and want to keep growing as much as possible with what I've been doing.
So hopefully we can carry on in the same way, playing well and getting results so that the team can do well too.
Perfect. And did you expect to be in the starting eleven and start so many games and also to have won a trophy already in the first three weeks?
Of course, I thought about it, I thought it could take longer after arriving so soon and settling in so quickly and playing in the starting line-up.
