Source text - English I have a tiny wooden cigar box in my study. It once held small ‘Elephant' cigarillos, but they went up in smoke long ago. They made way for the Massif Central, cast in glass, neatly cut to the size of the box and with a dark blue background that shimmers faintly through the sparkling glass. The mountains, diminished and chilled in reality and in the meantime abandoned to the gradual wearing down of geological erosion, lie there in miniature, tamed and held fast between cedar wood slats. This is typical of Elsbeth. She observes the Earth, kneads the clay, melting and baking and pouring it into moulds to reduce geology to manageable proportions. She's like Vulcan, the Greek god of fire, in his forge: when finally the smoking and bubbling craters of the Auvergne were calm and cooled, he laid the full-size mountains between pine forests and vineyards while Elsbeth’s miniatures are tamed and held fast in a small cigar box.

Happily, the dwellers in hill countries seem usually more noble in mind and robust of frame than the inhabitants of plains, and all who know them well must admit that among Alpine guides are to be found men whose intelligence and character would rank high in any class of life.
I have usually noticed that the abilities and duties of a guide are little understood by the non-climber, who often imagines that a guide's sole business is to know the way and to carry the various useless articles which the beginner in mountaineering insists on taking with him.

Overall plans should be made for regional life and hygiene, living and ecological environment, sewage and waste treatment, life and production, and overall planning and phased construction. What’s more, we should consider the human settlement and adopt comprehensive resources-oriented treatment based on full use of rural resources, and reduce unnecessary sewage and waste treatment to the minimum. This article is aim to present integrated solutions including 1.0+, 2.0+, and 3.0 modes and encourage modern rural circulation technology applied in more areas. Besides, it also gives a detailed description of the needs of current rural Toilet Revolution of different regions in different development stage, based on the resources-oriented principles of sources separation and classification, balance of living and production, as well as recycling pollutants with proximity principle.
