Jiwon Kim worked as an inhouse interpreter/translator in National Pension Service of Korea (NPS), a public pension fund manager, for 4.5 years (February 2017 - June 2021). My translations in NPS include annual reports (describing investment portfolios/returns), Letter of Interest (mostly on investment), Request for Proposal (on asset management, legal advisory), guidelines (on investment into public/private equities, real estate and infrastructure), and etc. Kim worked as an inhouse interpreter/translator in Samsung Electro-Mechanics (SEMCO), a S.Korea-based mobile phone part manufacturer, for 1.5 years (April 2015 - July 2016). My translations in SEMCO include legal contracts, business reports and engineering documents. Kim worked as a freelance translator in Samsung Electronics, a S.Korea-based semiconductor manufacturer, for 3 months (January 2015-April 2015). My translations in Samsung were mainly with regard to marketing and sales. Kim received mastery in KO-EN interpretation and translation from Seoul University of Foreign Studies, a graduate school for interpretation and translation, in 2015. She studied English Linguistics in Hanguk University of Foreign Studies between 2006 and 2011.
