MAANDIKO YA SOMO:
Isaya 44:6-8, Mithali 3:9
UTANGULIZI:
Uwakili wa kikristo unaelezwa kama jukumu la kila mtu binafsi kusimamia kila kitu ambacho Mungu anaweka kwa utunzaji wake. Kila eneo la jukumu linahitaji uaminifu. 1 Wakorintho 4:2
Uwakili ni muelekeo muhimu unaojumuisha matumizi sahihi ya wakati (muda), talanta, rasilimali, na katika suala zima la fedha. Uwakili unajumuisha kujua kuwa kila kitu nu mali ya Mungu maana ndiye mtoaji wa uzima na mali, vyote ni mali yake isipokuwa dhambi. Mwanadamu ni wakili wa utunzaji kwa niaba ya Mungu.
Katika somo hili tutaangalia vipengele vifuatavyo:-
1. Maana ya utoaji
2. Namna ya kutoa
3. Aina za utoaji.
Unapaswa sana kujifunza hili somo maana ziko sadaka ambazo huwa hazipati kibali mbele za Mungu kwani zama hizi si sawa na zama za kale ambazo sadaka zilizokataliwa zilionekana kwa ishara ya moshi kusambaa na zilizokubaliwa zilionekana kwa ishara ya moshi kunyooka kwenda juu mawinguni, lakini sasa sivyo. Unaweza kutoa ukadhani umetoa sadaka ya kupokelewa na Mungu lakini kumbe imekataliwa pasipo wewe kujua, hivyo lazima ujue ni sadaka zipi zinakubalika na Mungu.
Katika ufafanuzi tutazingatia vipengele kadhaa:-

Zaka ni nini?
Zaka ilianza lini na nani alianzisha?
Makusudi ya Zaka ni nini?
Je, Zaka ilishapitwa wakati wake?
Yesu alisema nini kuhusu Zaka?
Mifano ya waliotoa Zaka kwa uaminifu kwa Mungu.
Mungu anaonya nini kuhusu Zaka?
Kwanini watu wanashindwa kutoa Zaka?
Matokeo/madhara ya kutotoa Zaka kwa uaminifu.
Ahadi za Mungu juu ya watoaji
Maswali 10 ambayo wengi huuliza kuhusu utoaji kwa ujumla na Zaka.
1. MAANA YA UTOAJI
Utoaji ni kuachilia, kuwapa watu vitu/mali, ni kuchukua vitu ulivyonavyo na kupeleka mahali pengine hususani kwa Mungu, (Kutoka 10:9-11, 25-26).
Kumfanyia Mungu ibada kamili huambatana na utoaji wa sadaka kukamilisha ibada. Hii haimanishi ibada ya kusanyiko bali ibada ya mtu binafsi na Mungu hivyo mkristo lazima ajue kuwa yeye binafsi anapaswa kutoa sadaka ili kukamilisha ibada. Utoaji ni ibada binafsi kati ya mtu na Mungu wake.
Wengine wamekuwa kuna wakati hawatoi sadaka kwasababu hawana fedha, ni kwakuwa hawajui kuwa kutoa sadaka hakulengi fedha tu hivyo mkristo anapaswa kujua ni vitu gani anaweza kutoa, ni kile kitu kitolewacho kwa kuugusa moyo wa mtoaji haijalishi ni fedha ama mali nyingine yoyote.
Mkristo lazima ajue kuwa mwanzilishi wa utoaji ni Mungu mwenyewe, Yeye alianza kwa kuchinja mnyama na kuwavika Adam na Hawa, Mwanzo 3:21. Pia alimtoa mwana wa pekee wa wokovu huu, Yohana 3:16. Sasa, sisi kama watoto wake tunafanya kwa sehemu kutoa kama kurejesha kwa yeye aliyetupa.
Mungu anahitaji tutoe sadaka nzuri, ni hatari sana kwa mkristo kutoa sadaka ya vitu vibaya vyenye udhaifu ama vilema, ni afadhali usitoe kabisa kuliko kumjaribu Mungu kwa uovu katika utoaji, tunamjaribu Mungu kwa kutoa vitu vya thamani ndipo tuone kama hatatubariki.

Kwanini tutoe?
Kwasababu utoaji ni tabia ya Mungu, na kila mwana wa Mungu lazima afuate taratibu za Mungu, yaani kuhitaji kumfanania Mungu.
Kuonesha upendo wetu kwa Mungu.
Hautoi kwakuwa umeambiwa unapaswa kutoa kama kutimiza wajibu, bali unatoa kwakuwa unampenda Mungu.
Kutoa ni agizo la Mungu. (Luka 6: 38.)
Kutoa ni njia ya kupokea baraka za kimungu kutoka kwa Mungu. (Matendo ya Mitume 20:31-35)
Pia tunakumbushwa habari za Tabitha, Kornelio na wengine wengi waliotoa kwa Mungu.

INTRODUCTION:

Stewardship involves knowing that everything belongs to God because He is the giver of life and properties, all things belong to Him, except sin. Man is a caregiver on behalf of God.
In this lesson we will look at the following aspects: -
1. Meaning of sacrificing/offering
2. How to offer
3. Types of Offerings.
You need to understand this lesson very well because there are sacrifices that are not acceptable to God, because this is not the same as the old days where the rejected offerings were seen when a sign of smoke spreading out and the accepted ones were seen by a sign of smoke rising up straight into the clouds, but now it is not so. You may think you have offered a sacrifice which is acceptable to God, while it has been rejected without your knowledge. So you must know which offerings are acceptable to God.

Ten Most Asked Questions About Giving in General, and Tithing.
1. THE MEANING OF GIVING
Giving is releasing up, giving people things / property, is taking what you have and sending it somewhere else, especially to God, (Exodus 10: 9-11, 25-26).
To render to God exclusive devotion is accompanied by the offering of sacrifices to complete the divine service. This does not mean congregational devotion but individual devotion with God, so the Christian must know that he/she personally must offer sacrifices in order to complete the divine service. Giving is a personal devotion between a person and his/her God.
Some are not giving offerings because they do not have money, because they do not know that giving is not just about money, so a Christian should know what things he/she can give, it is what is released by the touch-of-heart of the giver no matter it is the money or any other property.
The Christian must know that the originator of offerings is God Himself, He began by slaughtering the beast to clothe Adam and Eve, Genesis 3:21. He also gave His only begotten Son, John 3:16. Now, we as His children are doing just in part to give as a reward to the one who gave it to us.
God wants us to offer quality good offerings, it is very dangerous for a Christian to offer bad things that are weak or lame, it is better not to offer at all than to tempt God with evil in offering, we test God by offering valuable things and wait to see if He will not bless us.

Why give?
Because giving/offering is a characteristic of God, and every child of God must follow God's standards, that is, need to be like God.
To show our love for God.
You do not give because you have been told you should give as fulfilling a duty but you give because you love God.
Giving is God's command. (Luke 6:38.)
Giving is a way to receive divine blessings from God. (Acts 20: 31-35)
We are also reminded of Tabitha, Cornelius and many others who offered to God.
