Bio
I have always had an interest in languages. My request to learn French in school was denied, I was made to study Latin instead. I had a hard time until I understood that reverse-engineering generative grammar won’t help with a natural language & why my teacher didn’t understand my questions.
I believed that I wasn’t good with languages, yet kept learning French on the side. This ended in 2020, I started to teach myself Spanish and Catalan simultaneously. In less than one year I reached level B1 in ES & CAT on my own.
Subsequently I began a deep dive into Catalan language at two universities in 2020. I am studying Linguistics, History of Romance Languages, Learning Sciences & Pedagogy as an autodidact.
Other than this I worked as a private German teacher and English teacher, I am a musician & an artist as well as a Linux Sysadmin, IT Technician and Network Engineer.
