With over nineteen years of experience in the translation industry and a number of specialist areas, including art, art history, tourism, sport and clinical trials, my services could be just what you are looking for. As a native English speaker living and working in the UK, I am able to offer very natural-sounding translations. My BA (hons) and MA in Italian Studies from University College London (one of the UK's top universities), along with a period of 5 years spent living and working in Italy, mean that I have an excellent understanding of the Italian culture and the more complicated nuances of the Italian language.

Both my degrees included a number of units in the History of Art department, which is my key area of specialisation. My most recent jobs of note in this field include the translation of part of the catalogue for the exhibition of Raphael's 'Madonna of Foligno' in Milan in 2013-14, the catalogue for the exhibition of Raphael's Sistine Tapestries at the V&A in September 2010 and 'Good Enough to Eat', a book about art and the history of food by Pia Baggi Sisini.

My expertise in the field of clinical trials (informed consent forms, patient information, etc.) has been developed over the course of several years and I have completed many large translation projects of this nature for a number of major pharmaceutical companies.
