My name is Héctor Aires and I am a 73 years old electrical engineer.
In 2000, tired after 30 years working as contract manager and application/sales engineer of multinational companies in the electrical and mechanical fields, I discovered –by chance- the translation industry world.

Nowadays I work as a professional full time freelance translator from English into European or Latin American Spanish, within the technical field.
In these years I have earned a strong reputation as a very detail oriented and accurate translator of mounting, operation and maintenance manuals, datasheets, software applications, commercial and corporate brochures for a wide range of equipment and software.
From capsule filling machines and analytical instruments to steam powered generators, turbo compressors, magnetic resonance equipment, software applications or tube connectors, every translation project is a challenge I assume with the same commitment I used during my past "engineering life" to deliver value for my customers.
