Bio
My mother tongue is Swedish and my primary working languages are English and German. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2005. I have a BA in International Communication and Translation and an MA in Language and Engineering from the University of Hildesheim, Germany. My working fields are engineering, patents, manuals etc. and I specialize particularly in electrical and mechanical engineering as well as patents and tchnicka translations.

I have extensive experience of patent texts. This experience originates from my past as a Swedish police officer as well as from the research for my BA-thesis about language structures in civil law judgements, and for my MA-thesis about language structures and translation problems in patent documents.
