Translating pharmaceutical SOPs for a long-time client. Standard operating procedures, that is. 1 user Refining a client glossary for a large clinical trial project Translating pharmaceutical reports from French into US English. My bread and butter translation work. Starting 23 pharma procedures. Lots of cross-file repetition, so it should go fast. I'm editing master batch records for pharmaceutical manufacturing, and from that we'll create templates for many similar files to follow for the same company. I'm editing an earth sciences journal article written in English by a non-native speaker and preparing for my ProZ webinar on the same topic tomorrow! All about pharmaceutical regulatory affairs this week. I'm translating audit reports and company responses. Editing a chemical journal article on how to analyze volatile organic compounds. Delivered four chemistry patents on Monday and Tuesday. Taking today off! Translating two chemistry patents from French to English. My bread and butter work. Today I'm translating a text on cleaning up chemical pollution and giving a webinar on technical writing for ProZ. Finished my third webinar of the week, training translators, and now I'm back to a big pharma translation project. Little jobs today. Two sets of cosmetic patent claims and a press release for a new chemical material. Delivered a set of training slides on an essential oil brand, and now tackling a chemistry patent. Just localized 5K of US English on cosmetics into UK English. 1 user Catching up! Having my first break between deadlines for a very long time! Finishing off a 30K word set of documents for a patent opposition case about mascara. Finished the week's work late last night. Catching up now to clear my inbox and then I'll take the rest of the day off! Delivered 10,000 words of food science regulatory text. Writing a guest blog post now. I edited a set of promotional brochures for medical devices today. Translating 2000 words on a Fr>En earth science project for an academic. Translating applied physical science for chapter of a book written by French academics Tackling a set of French to English patent opposition files for a cosmetic.
