What translation project are you working on right now?
Working on a brochure for a plastic surgery clinic and interested to find out that they advertise male breast reduction surgery. Can't say I would have specialised in plastic surgery, but this was fascinating to me!
Editing an article on intracranial circulation - stumbled upon a fascinating open journal on the topic: https://www.hindawi.com/journals/tswj/2013/620162/
Currently reviewing the List of Standard Terms, curated by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM). Definitely something I need to know! Translation of medical records - I enjoy these because I think along with the findings and consider how I would diagnose the patient. It helps to keep my medical training relevant!
Most exciting thing ever - applications of machine learning in medicine and surgery! Fascinating stuff!!
An interesting translation about medical forceps and how their size impacts the approach during surgery and it is 3000 characters long. I enjoy these translations - I always learn something new! Japanese to English medical translation regarding an ultrasound contrast medium. Interesting but very challenging! Journal article on a medical device (JP to EN) - interesting and informative!
