Hi there!
I am working on my Cv and I am looking for good tips in order to make it simple and straightforward.I am a translator and I am trying to focus on my skills, experience and objectives. My existing Cv is sort of strict two columns style and I definitely trust you can help me find a smarter and "fresher" but still professional style.
Thank you very much and enjoy your day!

What I would suggest is to make your CV more of a portfolio rather than standard CV. After all, you are not looking for a job but for contracts / projects. It is the same for other freelancers like photographers or web designers. So instead of 'Employment' section put 'Recent projects'.
Hope this helps. Good luck with your CV!

Hello Ewa,
and thanks a lot for your suggestions!
I have put my work experience in the "professional experience" section since I wanted to avoid the word "employment" which didn't sound appropriate since I have never been employed by agencies. What is your advice about this?
